When we process your personal data, we will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which your data is collected.

We process your IP address (a personal data). We do this with two goals:

The first goal is to improve our website. We use the statistics program Google Analytics for this. We do this to analyze how long and which pages of our website you visit and how you ended up on our website. This processing is permitted because the processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests: to improve our website and to understand the behavior of our visitors. Where we collect your IP address for this purpose, it will be automatically deleted after 14 months. For this we provide personal data to Google LLC. The second purpose for which we collect your IP address is to detect any problems with our website and server, thereby ensuring the security and accessibility of our website and server. Our servers store log files, which contain your IP address. This processing of your IP address is also permitted because the processing is necessary to promote our legitimate interests, consisting of the security and continuity of our systems. These log files contain IP addresses and are cleaned up once a year.

Data can be processed outside the European Union via Google and Facebook. These parties are affiliated with the Privacy Shield Program and therefore meet an appropriate level of protection according to the European Commission

You can sign up for our newsletter via the website. After you have registered, your data will only be used for sending the newsletter. This is permitted based on your consent. We use the MailChimp program to send the newsletters. MailChimp complies with the EU guidelines for the storage of personal data. For more information about this see this webpage. If you prefer not to receive any more newsletters, you can easily unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the newsletter. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe from our newsletters. If you unsubscribe, your e-mail address will be immediately removed from our mailing list and stored for a maximum of 3 months to process the unsubscribe

Apart from the cases mentioned here, we only provide personal data to third parties with your permission, or to comply with a legal obligation. This excludes service providers (engaged by us) and their (sub) processors, such as (legal) advisers, technical support and hosting provider(s).

Under the legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to have personal data processed about you:

  • to view;
  • to have it corrected; or
  • to do remove.

In addition, you have the right:

  • to withdraw your consent to the data processing;
  • to object to the processing of your personal data and/or request restriction of processing; and
  • you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

In the event that you wish to make use of one of the rights mentioned here, you can submit a request to this effect via our contact form. We will handle any request related to these rights in the manner prescribed by law.
