Exclusive lunch experience
Every weekend, we offer a freshly prepared, 6 course, fine dining, seasonal lunch menu. Our style is Mediterranean international, and we change the menu every 2 months.
In our restaurant, enjoy beautiful food and drinks with a garden or nature view. Our terrace is the mountain. Listen to the birds and the bees, enjoy the scent of a fresh rose. There is a special type of peace and tranquility to be discovered in Can Sueño.
Inspired by a strong love for the delicious flavours from here, the Costa Blanca in Spain, we also enjoy the freedom to experiment with ingredients and ideas from elsewhere, and the resulting curious combinations.
Our wine arrangement gives you the opportunity to savor some beautiful Spanish wines that we have specially selected to complement the dishes in the lunch menu.
Inspired by the seasons, we enjoy decorating our plates with edible leaves and flowers from our own garden.
Can Sueño is a small cozy restaurant with limited tables, and an intimate, comfortable atmosphere. We like to create a warm, friendly space to enjoy lunch, with music, lights, candles and fresh flowers.
We are not in a rush. far away from the busy city, we take our time with the service so you can relax and disconnect, enjoy quality time, and let that special feeling take over!
Enjoy a full afternoon Can Sueño lunch experience. Give yourselves time to relax and disconnect and let nature inspire you. We open the garden from 13.00 to enjoy a beautiful Can Sueño cocktail or drink of your choice, and spectacular mountain views. Then, we begin lunch at 14.00 with a glass of cava and an explanation of the menu and wines. After enjoying beautiful food and wines, relax at around 17.00 with coffee or another drink in the garden, stay a bit longer, and enjoy the afternoon sun.
We serve lunch inside, as the weather is different every day, yet we offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the garden and surrounds. During the lunch, we arrange a thirty minute break before the main course, to enjoy the sun with a wine on the terrace for example, or take a short walk.
Our aim is to make you feel at home, or in a special friend’s house, so please enjoy a thoughtful yet relaxed service from our friendly staff, and a hand crafted original menu with plenty of Can Sueño twists and special details.
Visiting Can Sueño is not just about eating, it’s an experience that invites you to enjoy the flavours of each plate with a different touch from the mountain. Celebrate with a lovely wine or cocktail with loved ones in a unique natural setting and discover what makes Can Sueño special!
Enjoy some spectacular mountain views on the way to Can Sueño! We are located around one hour by car from the coastal towns of Denia and Javea, and about fifty minutes inland from Altea or Albir. The curving mountain road makes for an exciting excursion into the mountains. In early spring, be amazed by fields of beautiful almond blossom, with spectacular views of the beautiful Sierra de Bernia and Sierra de Ferrer mountains. The journey is also part of the Can Sueño experience. As you start to travel up the winding road, noticing less houses and more trees, you begin to travel through a beautiful natural landscape. Enjoy the adventure to a special restaurant in the mountains of the Costa Blanca.
Please reserve in advance by using booking form, and we will ask you to confirm the choices for the main course before the day. It’s best to reserve at least one or two weeks beforehand, (sometimes longer in busy periods!) to be sure of securing a table.
